Hello! My name is Sarah Koberlein, and I am an ANCC Board-Certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I specialize in providing psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and support to individuals aged 5 years and older with a focus on depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, psychotic disorders, including those with co-morbid medical issues.

My nursing journey began in cardiovascular, trauma, and medical-surgical intensive care units, where I realized that mental health is often overlooked and undervalued. This realization fueled my passion to obtain a Master's of Science in Nursing, specializing in Family Psychiatric Mental Health, from East Tennessee State University in 2020. Since then, I have been working in the community mental health setting for the past three years. My ultimate goal is to bring mental health to the forefront and reduce the stigma surrounding mental health treatment.

My treatment philosophy is holistic and inclusive. I strive to provide a comfortable environment for individuals from all backgrounds. One where you, the client, feels understood and validated. Together, we will develop a plan to help you reach your goals and improve your overall quality of life.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my partner, friends, family, and two dogs - Gene and Freddie. I find the outdoors to be therapeutic and love to go on hikes with my dogs. In my free time, I also enjoy traveling, attending concerts, and creating art.
