My Story
Welcome! I believe that healing and growth happen when individuals feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported. My passion as a therapist is helping people navigate life's challenges while discovering their own strengths, resilience, and ability to create meaningful change. Whether you are facing a difficult life transition, struggling in a relationship, processing grief, or working through anxiety, depression, or trauma, I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment where you can explore your experiences without judgment.
I have experience working with adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and individuals experiencing moderate to severe mental health concerns. I particularly enjoy working with couples as they learn to strengthen communication, rebuild trust, deepen emotional connection, and create healthier relationship patterns. I also have extensive experience supporting individuals through grief and loss, trauma, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges.
My approach to therapy is rooted in person-centered, humanistic, psychodynamic, and family systems perspectives. I believe every individual has the capacity for growth and healing, and I work collaboratively with clients to identify goals, develop insight, and create meaningful change. While I provide compassion and support throughout the therapeutic process, I also believe growth requires courage and commitment. I enjoy helping clients challenge themselves, build new skills, and put in the work necessary to achieve the goals that matter most to them.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked in the field of speech therapy, which strengthened my understanding of communication, development, and the importance of building strong interpersonal connections. I have also completed multiple levels of telehealth training, allowing me to effectively provide therapy both in person and through secure virtual platforms.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, having picnics, and exploring all that Tennessee has to offer after recently relocating from California. I love discovering new places, connecting with nature, and creating meaningful memories with the people I care about most.
I am honored to walk alongside my clients on their journey toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life. I look forward to helping you take the next step toward becoming the healthiest version of yourself.
